Ewe Master Drummer- Kofi Kunkpe
Kofi Kunkpe, an Ewe Master Drummer, educator and multi-instrumentalist, moved from Cape Coast, Ghana to the Yarra Valley, Australia in 2012. Since this time he has performed and taught extensively throughout Australia in schools, universities, at private functions, major festivals and corporate events. Passionate about his culture, Kofi enjoys working with all ages and abilities, encouraging participants to find their own way in to rhythm with enthusiasm and humour. Kofi incorporates mindful connection to every participants’ innate rhythm, bringing everyone together with his drum and a variety of other African instruments.
